About the Hannaford Youth
Program
The Hannaford Youth Program is a
fantastic opportunity for BRASS and PERCUSSION players ages 10 - 24, beginner to advanced
to participate in any one of 3 brass bands:
The
Hannaford Youth Band
The Hannaford Community
Band
The Hannaford Junior
Band
The Hannaford Youth Program is operated
under the auspices of the Hannaford Street Silver Band, a world renowned,
award winning, professional brass band that has been active in the Toronto
community since 1983. Members will have the opportunity to participate
in rehearsals, concerts, clinics, competitions, recordings and more!

Members of
the Youth Program will each get complimentary tickets to HSSB series
performances. Also, “family package" price plan available
for these concerts.

The Hannaford Youth
Band:
will rehearse in the Dining Hall, Faculty of Music South Building, 90 Wellesley St. W., University
of Toronto for the majority of its rehearsals.
The Hannaford Community
Band, The Hannaford Junior Band:
will rehearse on the 3rd floor of The Church of the Reedemer (162
Bloor St. W. - northeast corner of Avenue Rd. and Bloor St.)

Each participant in the Hannaford
Youth Program is required to audition (for
audition information please click here).
Upon acceptance a fee is required for each band as follows:
