The Hannaford Youth Band

About the Hannaford Youth Band
Darryl Eaton, Conductor

Since its beginning in 1999, the Hannaford Youth Band has built a reputation for musical excellence. Close to 800 young musicians have participated in the program, rehearsing, performing concerts in a variety of venues, attending clinics, and going on retreats and trips. This season we look forward to continuing this tradition!

The Youth Band is made up of mostly university students and some advanced high school players. A high musical standard is one that we want to continue to aspire to, developing professional skills and attitudes, while performing challenging and inspiring repertoire.

In 2003 the Hannaford Youth Band issued it's premiere recording entitled Hannaford Youth and in 2005 they released a Christmas CD entitled My Christmas Album that is a holiday treat not to be missed! (for copies of these wonderful CDs please contact hannafordyouth@yahoo.ca)
